About Royal Doctors

Royal Doctors

Setting standards in providing second opinion

It’s our mission to connect people to the best care in the world.
That is why we send patient files to specialized doctors for a second opinion, no matter where they are located. Because we know that the doctors in our network can provide a best-in-class medical opinion.

This doesn’t mean we lack confidence in local doctors.
But research does show a great need for second opinions by specialists in severe cases. Even in a connected world, patients find it very difficult to track down and make contact with the right doctor for their case. This is what Royal Doctors offers.

Our values

  • Top quality – Mediocre quality will not do when your health lies in the balance. So we only connect you with world-class practitioners. We know they are the best in their field because we check them permanently.
  • Peace of mind – The entire goal of our service is to free you from any health concerns. But we also strive for a worry free approach in our delivery. A simple phone call will do. We take over from there.
  • Clarity – We don’t do small print. As a Royal Doctors patient, your fee covers any condition. And that’s final.
  • Personal care – We know we deal with people. So all our services are tailor-made. Your case manager looks into your specific file and provides you with a personal and useful answer. No red tape.

The Bridge

The Bridge is our charity fund. It's an organization that focuses on the weakest groups in our society with little or no access to healthcare whatsoever. We try to give some of those people a chance for a better life by getting them a surgery they desperately need. If you wish to learn more about The Bridge, don’t hesitate to contact us.

About our leadership

CEO Worldwide Joris Vanvinckenroye is a medical professional with a strong background in innovative techniques and an impressive track record as a medical expert in legal cases. Joris started Royal Doctors in 2003. He has a ‘second opinion story’ of his own: after being wrongly diagnosed he nearly lost a leg. A second opinion brought him and his family to a medical facility in Paris where amputation was ruled out as a proper procedure for his case. Instead, he got a custom made artificial foot. He has run several marathons with it since.
