Personal second opinion

Get a consultation with your second opinion doctor

For some conditions, a personal consultation with your second opinion doctor may be appropriate. But even in other cases you may prefer the ability to ask personal questions directly to your doctor. Royal Doctors makes sure no unnecessary time is lost in the second opinion process.

Choosing a personal second opinion has the added benefit of getting to ask your questions face to face. In cases when a clinical exam is necessary to make a diagnosis, it’s the only option.

Our swift procedure

  • Step one: get in touch - You can contact us anytime. Just call +32 271 90 300 or fill in the contact form on this website. We will call you back the next day to get the procedure started.

  • Step two: gather information – We will send you some forms to fill in and ask you to e-mail your medical file. If needed, we will ask your doctor or clinic to send it directly. We’ve got a lot of experience in dealing with hospitals and doctors.

  • Step three: select the right doctor – Your case immediately gets reviewed by our medical board. They are in charge of choosing the right specialist for your second opinion case. Our network consists of some 250 doctors.

  • Step four: skip the waiting list – Our case manager makes an appointment with your second opinion doctor on the day that suits you best. As a Royal Doctors patient you get to skip the waiting list and receive your second opinion within days.

  • Step five: personal consultation and written report – Your second opinion doctor discusses his views on your case live with you. You can ask him any question and get immediate answers. Afterwards we’ll send you a written report of your consultation.
