From the start of the insurance benefit, you have 3 years to begin and make use of grief coaching. You can start at any time within those 3 years. The number of 1:1 coaching sessions is limited to a maximum of 6. Of course, you can choose to continue the coaching at your own expense in consultation with your coach.
You can stop grief coaching whenever you want.
Using grief coaching is voluntary.
Grief coaching is a service offered free of charge by elipsLife.

All grief coaches are psychologists registered in the BIG register.
This means they are included in the Dutch BIG Act, which ensures quality of care. Psychologists listed in the BIG register have completed additional training after their university master’s degree.
All grief coaches are Dutch. Conversations in English are also possible.
